Clean and Simple Fall Kindness Card

Hello Lovely.  Fall is upon us here in Alaska, whether or not we're ready.  Today's card is a clean and simple design, but sometimes we all need a bit of clean and simple inspiration.  Of course, this card includes my favorite technique - ink blending.

Simplicity is golden here with embossing resist and ink blending.  I stamped a leaf pattern panel using the Ornate Leaves stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and VersaMark Ink.  I embossed all the leaves with Ranger Super Fine Clear embossing powder.  I blended a bit of Dried Marigold Distress Ink over each leaf, leaving some white areas as I went.  To complete the card I used the Stitched Rectangles die from Simon Says Stamp to cut the leaf panel, then matted it on black cardstock before adhering it to a white card base.  The finishing touch was to add the "A Bit of Kindness" die cut from black cardstock using the Hero Arts die.
