Hombre with Arteza Real Brush Pens

Day 30 of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  I got lazy, but it was coloring none the less.  I did some heat embossing on Canson Watercolor paper using a Carta Bella background stamp, that is now retired.  

I concentrated the color on the top half of the panel and then used a watercolor brush to blend the color out to a fade at the bottom.  Then you guessed it, I got out one of the stitched rectangle dies and cut out the panel for my card front.

I used the That is All stamp set from WPlus9.  I used a few of the small sentiments from this set - Miss Your Smile, Thank You, Love You, Get Well.  I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Oxny Black ink in the lower right corner of the card base. 

I popped the panel up using copious amounts of foam tape and mounted it in the center of each card. 

These cards are bright and fun, yet simple and quick to make.  I really love how polished they look without a lot of effort.  I completed each card by scattering a few gems on each of the colored panels.
