Embossing Resist - With Sympathy

Hello Lovely.  I'm still battling a terrible head cold, but it's not keeping me out of the studio.  This past week I made a set of Sympathy cards for a friend.  Sympathy cards are never easy to make and I chose to use some brighter colors for these.

I created these cards using embossing resist.  I stamped the bouquet from the Power Poppy Set Pure Prairie Spirit using VersaFine Smoky Gray ink, then embossed it with Clear Ranger Super Fine embossing powder.  I did the same with the sentiment from the Avery Elle Sentiments Too set.

Card one is a blend of Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick and Wild Honey.  I splattered the panel with clean water and then with Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearls.  The completed panel was then die cut with my favorite Stitched Rectangles dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Card two is a blend of Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron.  I splattered the panel with clean water and then with Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearls.  The completed panel was then die cut with my favorite Stitched Rectangles dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Card three is a blend of Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender.  I splattered the panel with clean water and then with Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearls.  The completed panel was then die cut with my favorite Stitched Rectangles dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Card four is a blend of Distress Inks in Broken China, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers.  I splattered the panel with clean water and then with Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearls.  The completed panel was then die cut with my favorite Stitched Rectangles dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Card five is a blend of Distress Inks in Carved Pumpkin and Dried Marigold.  I splattered the panel with clean water and then with Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearls.  The completed panel was then die cut with my favorite Stitched Rectangles dies from Simon Says Stamp.
