Art Impressions - Snowman

Hello Lovely.  It's Monday again, are your ready for another week?  Is it too early to start talking about Christmas cards?  I hope not, because that's what we have today.  These turned out so cute I couldn't wait to share them with you.

These little guys are all hand colored and ready for the holidays.  I started by stamping six snowmen from the Art Impressions Warm Wishes set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White #80 cardstock with the Gina K. Jet Black Amalgam ink, which is Copic friendly.  This was my first time using this paper for Copic coloring and I loved the difference this paper made in my coloring.  The Copic colors I used are listing below.  I added a little pink to their cheeks with a q-tip and some Worn Lipstick Distress Crayon.  I die cut these guys using their matching dies.  I used some red and green pattern paper from my stash and die cut it using the Art Impressions Square Double Stitched dies.  I also cut some white panels using my fave the Simon Says Stamp Stitched rectangles die.

Let's assemble the card.  I stamped a sentiment from the Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes set onto the white panels with my go-to VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  I added the pattern paper squares to the top of the upper part of the white panel and centered the snowman in the square.  From here I adhered the completed panel to a kraft card base.  The finish touches included adding a bit of silver gel pen detail to the scarves of three of the snowmen and adding Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops to each snowman's nose.
