SSS Ornate Leaves - Happy Halloween Ornate Pumpkin

Hello Lovely.  Here we are with day three of my week of Halloween cards.  I'm using a couple of other stamp sets for this card, but ink blending is still a focus for this card.  Let's take a look.

I love how this background turned out.  I started with some Distress Oxide ink blending, top-down, using Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed.  Once I was happy with the blending I splatter it with clean water, then with some Perfect Pearls in the color Perfect Pearl.

I kept the stamping simple, using the pumpkin from the Simon Says Stamp Ornate Leaves set and some VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  The sentiment is from the Scrapbook.com Sentiments for Every Occasion and was also stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

To complete the card I die cut the panel with Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles and adhered it to a back card base.
